I have both and personally I prefer Windows. Somehow it seems clearer to identify who's on line and who's not, and just generally I prefer the overall appearance. They're both about the same as regards quality of service, its just a matter of personal preference I think.

Windows live messenger is better as no one i know uses yahoo messenger.
