Yahoo Messenger is better than Windows Live Messenger because Yahoo Messenger doesn't have the security flaws that Windows Live has. Windows Live Messenger just like any other Microsoft product is prone to spreading viruses because of Visual Basic Scripting and ActiveX controls.
