It's new only because it now allows communicating with yahoo members directly!!! I didn't see other improvements!!!
Windows live messenger 8.0 Is better you can make PC to PC free call also to landline and mobiles with a cost. You can also use it to IM your Yahoo friends because the new version of these will work with IM from both Microsoft and Yahoo. To run this you need to have Windows XP SP2, 233MHz Processor (500MHz Recommended), 256MB Ram. Also this program is in beta so Microsoft will not give support if things go wrong.
