I cant recieve shared files on windows live messenger?

im sure im on 8.0 version, but it says my comp doesnt support shared files. can anyone help?

Click tools, options, sharing folders and then check the boxes to enable them.

you have to make sure sharing is turned on in the settings within the messenger, and it needs to know where to put the shared files.
go to "tools", then "options", select "sharing folders" and make sure that the box next to "use sharing folders instead of sending one file at a time" is checked. if it isn't , try to reinstall the LATEST windows live messenger version.
you have to install the flash player for this ;)
