i have a friend who's mail finishes at gmail(ex.hername@gmail.com).she says she have given me the correct e-mail but i still can't recognise it.. i just want you to tell me if you know wether i can chat with someone with gmail. that is all ! please help me out ! and if i can,doyou now which version of msn allows that ! thanks for your time !:)

At present MSN (Windows Live) Messenger can only cross communicate with Yahoo Messenger. To communicate with others you would need a third party product. Trillian is an excellent product but doesn't support GTalk yet. You may want to simply create a GMail account to communicate with your friend.

Yes. Your friend who uses Gmail just needs to download the latest and greatest MSN messenger and use their Google e-mail name and create a password. Then they need to add you as a contact and you have to add them.
