Has anyone has a virus on their 'Windows Live Messenger' which has then deleted your log i

When you open 'WLM' it makes it go full screen then deletes your password, warning box appears saying something like ' Are you sure you want to delete your login details', deletes your password anyway, then you have to put in your password, and I think it then copies it!

I think its a Trojan virus! It also has these things that want to have access to your computer, whey have names like 'ttgehd77'!

I have got rid of it, but I want to know a bit more about it like how I got it, what is its purpose, etc.

Thanks

Has anyone has a virus on their 'Windows Live Messenger' which has then deleted your log in details???windows vista ultimate

it came from another person you were chating with on WLM they sent you a file or worm over the messenger. you need to get IM protection tool. look in the security downloads here. http://www.pcworld.com and check out WLM web site to see if they have any free ones . good luck.
