How do I determine which version of Windows Live Messenger (MSN) I am using?

To determine which version, select the Help tab on the Menu

and then scroll down to About Msn Messenger option

Click on it and a box should appear indicating whic version of Windows Live Messenger you are using , 8.0, 8.1 etc

it may hav a few number after the decimal point but the first number is the most relevant.

right click the lil green guy and open msn messanger. left click on help in the line file, contacts, actions, help. then click on about messanger
