I'm not able to use that feautre but there is a option some where on system setting i think or on messenger its self which stops auto sign in
I'm not really sure how i did it to mine. Try going to the screen where you select your online status or your personal settings. I hope i helped.

When signed into Xbox Live, press the Xbox Button and then go to Personel Settings. Choose Windows Live Messenger and then it allows you to choose your Sign In options.
