Is anyone having trouble signing in to Windows Live Messenger?

I can't sign in to it or hotmail, it says th error code is 80048439, and I don't know what that means. I'm wondering if anyone else has problems, because sometimes it's a problem with MSN, and others it's just my Internet connection.

Yes I had the same problem about 10 minutes ago, try again now, its working for me now.

I had so many problems with it that i dumped it for Yahoo!!!!

i have... im so glad im not the only one... i tried loads to sort it out but to avail.. i think there is someing wrong with it.. looks like we gotta wait for it to restart.. good luck

MSN is a pain in the *** almost 85% of the time.

but yep another bad day.
I'm trying to sign into my Hotmail account but it just keeps saying "Internet Explorer cannot display this page".

At least it's not just me!!

Bascially the .Net Messenger service is used to access messenger, hotmail, MSN etc etc... it's pants isn't it... big grey pants....
Aye me too, still not working either!
I cannot check my messeges, hotmail.com does not open it says "Page cannot be displayed"

I think there having a problem.
I'm not having any problems.
I don't use MSN messenger but I can't log into Hotmail. I get a message that service is unavailable. Maybe they are doing an update.
MSN was having major problems yesterday but now it is all sorted out.
