ive done it and the name is in the list but it only gives me the option of sending them an email.but im trying to chat via msn.
How do you add a contact to windows live messenger?windows xp sp2
try deleteing the contact person and adding them again, sometimes you have errors that can be corrected just by doing simple things, if that is not it, ask the other person if it could be from on their side that your not able to chat with them, or check your preference to make sure everything is done right there, Good Luck !
